Some thoughts-1- double check your line introducing the two authors, I think you will catch a mistake. :)
2- Your writing got stronger after the long introduction, and I’m personally not sure it needs to be there. My suggestion, in an article like this, would be to skip to your point, and sprinkle in a few quotes from the two authors as you elaborate your point.
3- I thought this article it was interesting, and I learned a lot, but I also liked school and learning. I think most people wouldn’t make it to your most interesting section on party speak. And even that reads more like a professor, teaching me about language and less my friend at dinner, telling me about the connections between language, politics and propaganda.
4- I kept waiting for the real life, modern quotes that show propaganda in action- as it obviously is, every day. Show me exactly what you are teaching me about.
